Galiyah, reconnue pour sa voix puissante et séduisante, est une artiste de calibre international. Elle est née à Granby de parents Marocains et a grandi à Montréal. Auteur-compositeur-interprète trilingue, Galiyah a étudié le Jazz avec Ranee Lee. Au Québec, ses apparitions télévisées incluent “Le Téléton des Étoiles” et “L’autobus du Showbusiness”. Trilingual singer-songwriter, Galiyah also studied music as a jazz voice major with Ranee Lee. In Quebec, her televised appearances include the “Telethon of the Stars” and “L’Autobus du Showbusiness”. Galiyah’s experiences include being a background vocalist for Quebec artist Marie Carmen and she was also featured in Garou’s band, “The Untouchables”. As a former lead singer of the French group “Emotions”, the first single “Chaque Minute Sans Toi” charted at #5 for several weeks on Fredericton Radio – CJPN (90.5 F.M.). As a solo artist, five of Galiyah’s songs smashed through Besonic’s International internet music charts at #1, 2 and 3 in Canadian Urban/Soul, World Music and Dance genres; thus giving the name “Flavors” to her debut CD.
